"I've been here twice (once for lunch and once for dinner) and both times were spectacular. It was a little difficult to find the first time since it's essentially in the lobby of a hotel. The ambiance was very down-to-earth and didn't feel like they were trying too hard. The service was friendly and prompt, but not pushy. The food was interesting and delicious. Mac and cheese topped with bacon, crab, and avocado? Yes please! I really want to try everything on the menu. I guess I'll have to keep going back. Really, I can't think of anything negative to say about this place."

"I don't know how I have not reviewed Grillfire yet.  It is probably the best place in the Hanover/Odenton area.  It is new and just opened up a few months ago inside The Hotel at Arudenl Preserve.  I really love that, The Hotel.  It is probably the nicest restaurant inside a hotel that I have ever been too.  I have been several times now and while the service was not great when they first opened, it keeps getting better and better.  They have a nice happy hour in the bar area that includes wine for $5 and some cheap appetizers.  I love the Chili Pop shrimp, they are delicious.  Thursdays are half price bottle of wine night so come out and drink your heart out on Thursdays.

The decor is beautiful, modern but still has a warm feel from all of the wood.  Also because of the fire.  I would be extremely disappointed if they didn't have a fire as it is called Grillfire.  It looks especially nice right now all decked out for Christmas.

My favorite meal so far as been the Cabernet braised shortribs.  I would probably kill for them if given a choice.  I also like the scallops and the crabcake sandwich was pretty good as well.

The most important discover has probably been that during brunch, 11-3 on weekends, they have mimosas for $1.  ONE DOLLAR PEOPLE.  This made me very happy but it is also kind of dangerous knowledge to have.  They also have a breakfast served from 6:30 to 11, but the drinks are not discounted then and their brunch menu offers many more options then the regular breakfast menu so beware.  Try the Cheesy broccoli and bacon eggs or the blueberry pancakes.

One last note, for dessert they have smores!  Smores that you can make tableside.  And the icing on the cake, they bring you cotton candy when they bring the check."

"I cannot wait to try this place out again.  I would highly recommend this to anyone in the Hanover area looking for a nicer play to dine.  I've heard the brunch is wonderful and will be trying soon.  I went for diner with girlfriends, and the drink menu was extensive and yummy.    The signature chopped salad was good, but I cannot wait to try the mango and avocado salad.  My friends both opted for steak (I believe the rib eye and strip) and were both very happy with their selections.

For dessert we had the campfire smores and I was shocked that our waiter happily brought us extra chocolates, marshmallows and crackers!

I didn't have my kids on my latest excursion but I noticed many families with young children, and they offered a children's menu.  I know my kids would love the complimentary cotton candy they offer all patrons."
